Looking for an Assassin's Guild

Unless you see an assassins guild a lot different from a thieves Guuild then Den of Thieves for 2e and Canting Crew a 3pp for 3e should be very helpful.

Read about Blackwater (or "Xe" now) for some recent RL inspiration ;)

I'm half kidding, but really, their story is amazing.

---edit---

I don't mean to imply they are "assassins" - but rather their story is very interesting and has aspects that translate well to piecing together a secretive organization, such as an assassins guild ;)

Might as well include the Mossad...

I have the Den of Thieves... I'll look for the Canting Crew.. that might be a harder find... I have Dragon #64!

Thanks,

wasn't there also an entire "fluff" chapter on assassin guilds in the Complete Theives Handbook (from 2nd edition) ? - "Fluff" would be completely edition-neutral and provide inspiration for what you're trying to do. It's been a while though so I could be remembering wrong ... but still mentioning it in case you had access to that book, it might provide a good reference.

At its heart, it was about a reforming assassin who didn't want to get sucked back into Guild politics.

It also involved a princess and a ball.

Good template for adventure.
