Does anyone know any fictional feline or canine races (fantasy or scifi) that can both walk on all fours and upright? I am not thinking of lycanthropes. They can from novels, games, comics, movies, tv or what not.
Thanks

Larry Niven's kzinti may fit that description, but OTOH, it may be that the females are not bipedal.

Kzin femals are bipedal. In the later history of the Niven's Known Space, the females aren't terribly bright. The male kzinti don't consider them fully sentient - they're wrong about that, though, and we see stories set in the past where the females are every bit as cunning as the males.

Kzin are mostly bipedal. We see them use quadrupedal locomotion for short stretches, but usually having hands free to hold and use weapons usually far outstrips the advantages of moving on four feet.

Larry Niven's Kzinti even made it into Star Trek via The Animated Series in an episode he wrote. The Kzinti were even scheduled to appear in an episode of Enterprise before it was canceled called Kilkenny Cats.

The Caitians were a felinoid species in Star Trek that first appeared in The Animated Series and later had cameos in the Trek movies. The Vedala are another cat-like species from the Animated Series.

There are also the Cat People from the Doctor Who episode New Earth (most notable the Sisters of Plenitude in New New York).

Yeah but I am not talking about humanoid animals or humanoid bodies with animal heads. I am talking about animals with human-like characteristic in a way. Think of Secret of Nimh.

I could be wrong, but the Wolfen from RIFTS may fit your qualifications.

Almost all of the animals in the Narnia books definitely fit the bill.
