Looking for cheesy tactics

First Post
A friend of mine is running a sort of high-powered game. We are level 12 and can use any prestige classes from the class books, the forgotten realms book, and the book with all the gods in it. We can also use the special races in the DMG. The only restriction is no evil. Oh, and we have 85 points to place for stats, plus 3 points for being level 12.

We also have 150,000 gold to buy any magical items we want out of the DMG

What I want to know is if anyone has any really cheesy tactics for making a character like this. You know, things like certain classes/items that work in combination to make a really cheesy character. I found some on my own, like taking a Templar with super high saves and a ring of evasion, or playing a were tiger with half dragon as the base race. I want to know if anyone else knows of any cheesy tactics or loopholes they can come up with for creating this character.

Have you checked the smackdown forum? There's a few expert pieces there. Alternatively, see how much uranium you can pick up for 150K.

Moved to Rules; that's where such things traditionally go.

And now that we're here, let me suggest at least one cheesy character build:

Half-dragon (red) troll. Then get some items that protect you from acid.
Or something similar (i.e., regeneration and templates/items/whatever that protect you from the only things that do normal damage despite the regeneration).

Don't do it half way Darkness. What you really want to be is a Half-Dragon (Red/Gold/Brass), Half-Celestial, Half-Golem (Clay with a failed save) Troll.

Human Fighter 12.

lvl 1 - Exotic weapon proficiency (spiked chain), Weapon Focus (spiked chain), Combat Reflexes
lvl 2 - Combat Expertise
lvl 3 - Improved Trip
lvl 4 - Knockdown (Sword & Fist, if not allowed take Dodge instead)
lvl 6 - Weapon Specialization (spiked chain), Improved Disarm
lvl 8 - Greater Weapon Focus (spiked chain)
lvl 9 - Improved Critical (spiked chain)
lvl 10 - Dodge (if you took it at 4th, take Mobility)
lvl 12 - Greater Weapon Specialization (spiked chain), Mobility (if you took it at 10th, take Spring Attack)

Spiked chain is a reach weapon that allows you to still attack adjacent foes. Opponent approaches to attack, you get attack of opportunity, trip attack, Improved Trip gives you a free attack on a successful trip, disarm (or attack if not armed). Opponent stands up from prone, drawing an attack of opportunity, rinse and repeat. Make sure you have a decent Dexterity to get as many AoO's with Combat Reflexes as possibly (also remember that Combat Reflexes allows you to make an AoO when flatfooted). If you're DM allows the Knockdown feat (when you deal 10 or more points of damage with a single melee attack, you get a free trip attack) just make a regular attack with the AoO's, with Weapon Specialization and Greater Weapon Specialization, and the fact that the spiked chain is two handed and does 2 dice of damage, you usually, if not always get the free trip attack.

Go for whirlwind attack, and if you ever hit epic, take improved whirlwind attack, you can attack foes in every square you threaten instead of just adjacent ones.

ultimate enchanter specialist

Enchanter with spell focus and greater spell focus, Red wizard as soon as possible, no ecl race.

Or go for incantatrix as soon as possible for metamagic madness. Again no ecl dilution.

ECL and wizards sucks unless master let u play a rakshasa.

LOL. Even if. Rakshasa makes your wizard ECL+14 (7 hit dice + 7 level adjustment).

That'd be a nice lvl 14 character casting 4th level spells while his human wizard buddy casts limited wish.

Yeah. On the plus side, he'd be immune to limited wish.
