Don't recall how it looked in 3.0e. Lost some power, and wasn't all that powerful to begin with. You're better served by just installing some Undead Grafts (from ... Fiend Folio, I think?) Actually looks a bit better, now that you have related PrCs like Dragonslayer and Abjurant Champion.
