D&D 5E Looking for low level adventure

I am looking for an adventure where a group of students are graduating from an adventure school and the heads of the school put them through a fake overpowered dungeon to discurage them from wanting to become adventures. The creatures in the dungeon are realistic illusions, has anyone ever heard of this one?

2nd Edition Dungeon modules had a series of 3-4 adventures called Challenge of Champions where the PCs went through a series of brain challenges to gain points. It was for any level and based on a annual fair to raise money for the mage school I think.

I ran a few of them and the group liked them. Not sure how much to convert them to 5e with some of the old spells needing to work a certain way, but you may be able to find a couple of them and mush them together to make something work.
