Looking for matte varnish, but not in a spray.

Hey, I find the pots of gloss varnish from Reaper & Games Workshop but I only find the matte stuff in spray cans. Anyone make a paint on matte varnish for minis?

Vallejo makes a nice matte out of the bottle for brushing on.
