looking for module (adventure) with Tarrasque

First Post
Hello,
I am looking for an adventure (or module) involving the powerful Tarrasque. This is a popular creature, yet it is rarely included in adventures. Of course this is largely because it is nearly unkillable.

My hope is to find a well written adventure where the adventures have to journey to the Tarrasque lair and kill it. The sages predict that the Tarrasque is soon to become active again, so brave (or foolish) adventures are hired to find the lair and kill the beast.

This is pretty much the basic idea, any variations off that main theme would be fine.
Can anyone suggest an adventure or direct me to a link that has th is type of module?

Thanks

Only one I know of, a forgotten relams module from 2nd edition. How the Mighty have Fallen. But I would not call it a well written module.

In the Bloodstone series of first edition module, you encountered the Tarrasque twice. Once in a temple of Orcus and once in the Abyss. I guess when you encounter it the second time, it has gone to hell after dying or something.

Both time, it's just a near-random pointless encounter, too. Just another monster to fill a room. It's a shame, really.

Yes, I know of the Tarrasques encounter in the BLoodstone series. I think it is also in H4 as lone creature in a room. Does not make any sense and nearly a rando monster encounter.

Yes, Tarrasque in bloodstone seems to be just stick a tough monster in there. Does not fit, or make any sense.

But thanks for the reply

Hehehe. There's a tarrasque in Lord Soth's keep (the top floor, believe it or not) in one of the old classic Dragonlance modules. Dunno what it was doing there (or how it got there), but it's there.

It's not a "tarrasque" adventure, but isn't Big T featured somewhere in the World's Largest Dungeon?

AR
I don't have the WLD, but one of its selling points is "At least one of EVERY monster in the SRD." So yes, there's a Big T in there somewhere.

There was a spelljammer world (in practical planetology?) that did not have night and day cycles, one half was continuously in darkness and one half in burning light. One of the halves was populated entirely by tarrasques.

It didn't have an adventure though, just the background info on the worlds.

Looking at that it doesn't seem to be that planet. Its Radole and it has mythral dragons and shadows
