A group has gained access to a fortified tower/room without breaking any of the locks or doors. Just as they gain access, a group of soldiers show up and will try to get in. The door can be locked from the inside, but are there any rules on how players can keep the door closed?

Secondary question pertaining to the same room. The room has arrow slits. If someone were to cast fireball, with the goal of having it go off inside the room, what sort of DC are we looking at for the arrow slit? If it misses and goes off on the outside of the room, are there any consequences for those in the room?

Module Conversions

I've been trying to find conversions of the old first edition AD&D modules. All I seem to find are conversions to 3.5. Now, I'm willing to do the work myself but if I don't have to then I'd rather not. Do you know any places that have converted modules?
