Looking for the Whip Blade (+/-)

Isn't there an exotic melee weapon called the "whipblade"? One of my former players had the Underdark supplement, and I wrote down the info about this weapon. Of course, I didn't type the info into my computer and I've lost the paper.

Crystalkeep.com doesn't list the whipblade anywhere. Am I hallucinating?

Whip-dagger. It first appeared in Sword and Fist in 3.0, and has shown up occasionally since then. I know it was in Arms and Equipment Guide, and I suspect Complete Warrior as well.

It's not the dagger-whip.

The whipblade is... wait.... I just remembered where I've seen it. Races and Renown: Plot and Poison. It's a Drow weapon. (Goes to the shelf and finds the book). Yeah, there it is.

I was thinking a whip sword/blade would be something like this.


d8 19-20. a trip weapon +2 to disarm. immediate action to change from 5 feet to 10 feet or something like that. a free action to change length on your turn.

That sounds very cool...almost too cool.

The whipblade from Plot and Poison is an exotic weapon if used one-handed, but not if used two-handed. d8, 18-20/x2. I just like the flavor text that describes the extra-flexible metal whipping around.
