E.N. Publishing published Wild Spellcraft (available in pdf at www.RPGNow.com, or in print thanks to Mystic Eye Games), but in my opinion, the rules don't stand up to the test of time. There's some niftiness in there, so you might want to give it a look.

I believe that I saw somewhere that the wild mage will be in Complete Arcane. So if you can wait a few months, you can have an official version.

I THINK I may be familiar with the site in guestion.... Did the site also have wild mage specific feats and spells?

If we're thinking of the same site, I've got the relevant bits saved as a Word document, with a little bit of random other stuff tossed in.. Check out the attatchment and see if it's what you had in mind.
