Lord of the Rings HeroClix as DDM replacements

There will be Lord of the Rings hero clix. So if you like the style and you don't mind the bases then you'll have some here.

Along with the relaunch of the mage night clix as a 'board game' there should be a few to choose from.

I think clix shows that a living mini's game can keep pre painted plastic profitable.

I hope there are supplements for it like the 'card' game Dominion. More mini's and more game but NOT collectible. Though if that takes off for them, so be it.

Dragonborn players will likely flock to Draconium for PCs. Black Powder Rebels won't probably be too helpful, Shyft are strange, but Elementals might have useful pieces as well, if that rich backstory is kept and the factions still exist with which minis come from.

I hope it's a big success. I never bought that many DDM because I was loading up on MK minis before DDM took off, and built up a big library of them that works pretty well.

With LOTR clix minis (yeah, GW had a license for it, but GW minis are ridiculously expensive) that's classic, archetypical D&D characters for cheap.

Me too. I have a bajillion MK minis and would buy the clearance special DDM boosters here and there.
