Ok sounds good to me. I have my home campaign running there as well. Here's the lowdown.... Barbenia is the port city on the mainland, however all outland ships must dock on the isle of Lernos in the city of Kryndon and apply for special passage to the mainland. The elves don't let just anyone dock in their lands. Barbenia is bustling with people. The city is full of elves and Caedmonish traning at the Academy. There is a regular route of ships taking graduates north to the city of Idenynia. They have established a small camp complete with a dock about 40 miles se of Idenynia. Soldiers then get orders from there and are walking to the city or wherever their orders say. The war around Idenynia has been slow in coming, as if boths sides are waiting. Thor Emblem is waiting for more troops and Narok has some special plans involving the undead that are starting to unfold now. My group is headed toward an old elven city named Calima that fell to the orcs 100 years ago or so. It was powerful in magic in it's day, but now lies in ruins 100 miles away from Idenynia in the lands held by the orcs. There are many different bands of orcs that have heeded Narok's call, and they are loosly organized at best. They have been despoiling old tombs looking for bones and magic artifacts, so feel free to add that. The patrols usually have a cleric or a necromancer and also hunt undead to control. Narok has aquired an advisor not of this plane, so feel free to use the MM completly. The party did encounter a centar that helped them some, so he could be your druid if you want. He indicated his tribe was near-by and that the orcs patrols were increasing in the area. Go ahead and make a N Coastal Region thread and post your info, I'll post mine inside it too, that way we can have two running veiwpoints. I don't know what level your campaign is, but I have a word doc with npc orcs and an ecounter table as well for close to the city (Calima). I made the NPCs with E-tools. My level is around 6th. For the forest, I use the forgotten Realms temperate forest encounter chart that came with the DM screen. Let me know if you want to check it out and I'll email it to you.
