The PDF is a boring no nonsense 32 pages and still about $10. It's a better deal if integration isn't important, but it's also worth mentioning it's part of Valda's Spire of Secrets, a 400 page book sold for $30 in PDF and $60 hardcover (again, site sales get the print copy to $40). [QUOTE="Remathilis, post: 9803939, member: 7635"] How about an apples to apples comparison? Mage Hand Presses Gunslinger class is available on D&D Beyond. You get a base class, six subclasses, some feats and spells, new guns and a few mechanics. All integrated into the chargen. For $14.99. MHP sells the exact same material as a PDF on their website for $10.00 (though it seems to be perpetually on sale for $9.00). I can't find a page length, but it seems around 32 pages. This points to a few factors on WotC's thinking. Primarily, they feel D&D Beyond integration is worth $5 more. And maybe, it is. You can share that content (legally) with your group, it's part of the biggest convenience tool in the game, etc. Additionally, WotC probably uses that $5 extra as their profit in sales over what MHP gets. At the point when I can buy Gunslinger plus nine extra classes for $20 more, I question even MHPs price point of $10 per class). All this is to point out WotC feels Beyond integration (and the extra cost of making it work in the builder) is worth more than a simple PDF and that content doesn't scale linearly by page count. MHP isn't WotC or Paizo, but they make good stuff and deserve reasonable compensation. Maybe they should be selling a 32 page PDF for $5 only, and WotC selling it at the same price point. But when you consider what you are getting for $10 and $15 in terms of content, the pricing on the Realms dlc makes a little more sense.
