The flashbacks did nothing for me, but I've always been more interested in the island stuff anyways (which I got with this episode).I finally got to find out where that cable leading into the sea led to - that was bugging me from Season 1! I hope he does, anyways.And while I hate anything to do with the Others, I've discovered I do like Alex. It's nice to see what Carl's "fate" was (ie. hiding out in the bushes near the Others). And Rousseau is always good.Jack sucks, but at least he's got vengeance and blow up Others on his mind - makes him tolerable. (And I still don't trust Juliet and hope she gets killed.)Also nice to see Bernard and Rose - though I hope nothing bad happens to Bernard. That would suck.</blockquote>
