Lost 3/2/05

Numbers station was my first thought when they heard the broadcast. They are spooky cool. NPR did another story about them last November. A guy recorded some and put them out onto CD, and they've since been used in some songs by artists who heard the CD.

Everyone should go to this link and listen to this story. I think it was a bout 6 minutes long. VERY COOL!

I could not get the NPR audio to play on the link WizarDru posted, kept timing out.

Thanks to you both for posting these links!!

who's story will be related to the "falling body", that was too good a blip not to have a follow up on.
It's the little stuff like that which I love about the show - any other show they wouldn't have bothered with a one-second throw-away piece like that, but it worked great to enhance Hugo's sense of being cursed.

nor Charlie, but I'm betting that she'll show up at one of Driveshaft's concerts, at some point, as she was the only one who recognized him...
Didn't Locke recognize Charlie as well, and even commented on the comparative quality of their albums?

Also, I think it was kinda cool that Sayeed found a picture of the woman he helped get out of the Iraqi prison. It looked like it came out of a magazine or something - not photo-type paper, nor newsprint, but kind of glossy.

I thought that he had that picture with him and left it behind when he escaped from Russo(sp). I may be mistaken, but we have seen that picture before right?

That's how I remembered it too.
It was his picture, and he left it behind after capture. There was some writing on the back, but I can't remember what it said -- it was something the lady had written to him as she was leaving the camp...

I think the writing on the back said something along the lines of "May we be together in the next life, if we cannot be together in this one" - or words to that effect.
