Pathfinder 1E Lost Cities of Golarion

I'm having a similiar issue with getting Pathfinder #40, none of my local FLGS have it (despite having everything else that was released at the same time) as well as indigo online.

So me thinks there are some destribution issues.

Because I'm on a limited budget and $20+shipping is a lot more expensive than $13.59 from Amazon - I don't know how much Paizo charges for shipping, but that's probably a $10+ difference!

The only reason I subscribe is because the PDF gives enough value added to the purchase to make it the "best buy" for me. If the PDF wasn't so useful to me I would be waiting to get it from Amazon too. Not because my LGS is a hour away, but because Amazon is the smartest place to buy from.

Saving as much of our money as we can is (or at least should be) among our top priorities, so you have no need to be defending/explaining the fact that your smart with your money.

I use to have a similar problem when I ordered exalted books from them (seems like a lifetime ago). I found that if I called their customer service, they actually had slot on hand, their stupid computer system is their main problem. Give them a call. I imAgine that'll fix it, that is, other than cancelling the order.

I could also be that since Paizo prints in smaller runs than say, WotC, that they honor their subs and web sales first, then branch out from there to the FLAGS, then to the most profitable/prefered vendors in a pre determined distribution pattern. Amazon may simply be waiting for the 2nd printing before fulfiling orders. Discounts often have a non-financial cost associated with them. Especially for smaller companies like Paizo.
