I'm looking at it right now on DnDBeyond. Their search function is not that great; it doesn't optimize very well. Just go down a few entries.

Edit - NM, you're trying to buy it. Hmmm...I already have it, so it's hard for me to check. It might no longer be for sale, which would suck. Checking.

Edit 2: I think you automatically get it for free when you open an account. Check your sources>adventures.

Well, of course they do. It's appalling, the hoops we need to go through to run a free adventure to bring new players into their game. I don't really want to use my tablet to run a game, but oh well.

Lost Mine of Phandelver isn't free in print (it's part of a box set). If you want a printed version, you have to buy it, so making the digital version non-printable makes sense.

It’s appalling that they give the digital version for free to use on their digital site, on the free account you can make? Those…monsters?

Expecting them to also give out a free pdf to compete with their own print version is not a reasonable ask.

Best advice is that you copy the content from the page into Word or similar tool and print it for YOURSELF!

In no way should you share created file with others.

Also, if you prefer it in print, that starter set is a fantastic deal! You get a DM screen, set of dice, character sheets, and the adventure (the best WotC adventure for 5e, IMO) for around $20 ($25) in Canada - I just checked and Prime will deliver it to you by tomorrow if you don't have a FLGS nearby.

I've written and deleted about seven different responses to that. I just don't know what to say.

No, the adventure itself has never been available as a PDF. The basic rules included with the adventure in the D&D Starter Set is available on WotC's site: https://media.wizards.com/2020/dnd/downloads/dnd_starter_rulebook.pdf
I remember that during the COVID Lockdowns it was available in PDF, but my memory is not perfect.

I'm sure that the Italian WotC gave it for free, in PDF form, for newsletter subscriber during the 2021 or 2022. I don't knwo if other languages had this privilege too.

I know. It's like when my boss at work told me to stop using the company printer to make color copies of the 300 page PDFs I found online pirated for free. The nerve of him. It wasn't like I was going to just stand by the printer and wait- I was going to do other things while waiting.

I only know what happened in the US; I don't know what may have happened in other countries.

Anyone know how/where I can download this adventure? Whenever I try on D&D Beyond, it directs me to Storm King's Thunder.

It's free.

It was briefly free on Roll20 as a sort of lockdown gift from WotC, not sure if that is still the case. Never seen is as a PDF or anything easier to access. You can still buy the original starter set that it was part of though and it isn't that expensive.

The rulebook for the Starter Set and characters are available as a PDF from WotC.

And if you want a dodgy PDF of the adventure it is easy to find on a Google search.
