+PC?

whats PC?

if u mean platform..its a Gamecube game. although I suppose theres an outside shot its a nextgen Nintendo game. But Nintendo said it should be out early 2005. (which means late 2005) and the new system isnt due until 2006 at least.

and for those that cant get the movie to work, go to any videogame website, this video was THE big news at this years E3

and i also dont get the LOTR connection.
zelda as a video game has and ocarina of time as a 3d game both predate the lotr movies. and this game is just a better graphics on the same general engine as ocarina.

I hate to point this out, but LOTR was a series of novels before it was a series of movies. Still the game only borrows from LOTR in the same way most fantasy borrows from it so its nothing really special. Now the D&D influences are definitely stronger.

Y'know, this thred belongs in the Computers and Software forum rather than the Books, Movies, and TV forum...

That said, this game looks absolutely badass.

To define what I meant:

LotR--The imagery of the goblins on boars (which I know is actually a bit more Warhammer Fantasy Battle) and the general Tolkienesque scenery.

DnD-- The roleplaying aspect

PC--the computer generation and animation that made this possible.

It looks like an astounding game. I might look into a gamecube for it.
