There are a couple of game stores here in Louisville, excluding the "Something to Do" hobby stores in the mall. The three I frequent are: Comicbook World website: www.comicbookworld.com Guy in charge: Doug Probably the best RPG selection in town and definitely the cleanest shop. Downside is they shrinkwrap just about everything and the staff are more comic oriented than RPG. The Great Escape website: www.thegreatescapeonline.com/tge.jsp Your classic hole-in-the-wall collectible store. Decent selections but "cozy" (aka small) Preston Book & Music Exchange Web ad: book-&-music-exchange.9601336676005.worldpages-ads.com/ Guys to talk to: Mike or Donny Big place with about as much RPG stuff as Great Escape but tons more comics, fiction, and movies. Several large tables in center of store frequently used for CCGs and RPGs. A little less organized b/c BME tends to have roughly the same staff as TGE but 3x the floorspace. Louisville Game Shop is new and hasn't acquired a following yet among the older gamers who don't live in the area. I stopped by during their business hours a few weeks back but it wasn't open. From what I could see through the window it looks more Reaper/Mini focused. Elmore lives in the vicinity so it's possible he knows the owners. I've never met the man but I've got friends who've modeled for him a couple of times with their SCA armor. IIRC there's also a ComicZone store but I don't think it had any RPGs. If you need more info, you can email me at kigmatzomat (at) hotmail.
