Not sure if anyone posted this previously, but found this on the intarwebz.

It's a BBC Radio audio reading of "At the Mountains of Madness"

You can listen to it right off the site for free- but looks like you need to pay if you want to download it.

Enjoy!

If you can listen to it, you've already downloaded it.

Odd that they would let you listen to the whole thing and still offer it as a purchase. Goof or intentional?

What I meant is that you can use the player right on that page-which is what I did. I did not actually save the file/s anywhere.

I assumed by what it says that if I tried to save the files I would need to pay for it, but admittedly did not try it.

IOW- I like "free" :D

And what I meant is that, yes you did. ;)

You can't listen to it without the file being on your computer. Usually it ends up as a cache file on your browser.

When they allow you to listen to it, they also allow your browser to download it. Usually when someone is selling a music file they only allow you to hear samples precisely because of this. But in this case the whole thing is there. Which is why I think it's a bit odd of them to do it like that if they intend to make money with it.

OK, I see what you are saying. Not terribly savvy on such matters.

At any rate, I hope people get to enjoy it. I did!
