I think one of the reasons why he mentions "Non-Euclidian Geometry" so often is that while you can do math with triangles that have more than 180 degrees total in all the angles. We can't construct any in the real world. So it is an effective tool for conveying the fact that something is radically different from what we are used to in our 3 dimentions.</blockquote>
