My name is Sean Anderson. I'm looking for projects with e-publishers who have big ideas and small budgets. My goal is to build up my published Editing and Design\Development portfolio for roleplaying and other tabletop game products and in the process help writer/designers make their electronic roleplaying projects the best they can be. Editing/Layout Getting your information across to your audience is easily the hardest part of any writing project and an editor helps with some of the legwork on it. I have a solid formal background in both English and Philosophy and am competent to proofread, revise, or consult on layout designs for manuscripts. I have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite but my access to the software may be hit and miss. I can also do basic graphic design work including logos, charts, as well as basic diagrams and maps but it is not my focus. Working together we can make your product cleaner, more attractive and more useful to the readers. Design\Development While I have no published design work I am versed in wide variety of roleplaying systems including White Wolf's Storyteller System, G.U.R.P.S. 4th Ed and the D20 system including most of its published variations. I have a firm design understanding of most of these systems, how they work and their strengths and weaknesses. I also understand statistics and probability including how they interrelate to dice, cards and other random resolution systems. I have practice refining, streamlining, simplifying or adding depth to various role playing systems. My goal is to help you design a system that does what you want it to, when you want it to. My background in religious philosophy includes major eastern and western religions as well as various indigenous, pagan and neopagan traditions and I can either consult or recommended a consultant for most religious traditions. Because my primary goal is to increase my published portfolio my rates will be competitively low. Specifics will be worked out on a case by case basis depending on the size and nature of the project. I am interested in working with any game system, new or established. I can certainly do editing work only, design work only or both on any given project. My goal is to help you get your ideas out into the most entertaining, interesting and useful form for your customers. They're your ideas, I'm just helping you communicate them in the best possible fashion.
