The little statuette clatters as it bounces off of the stone steps and then dives into the pit below.</p><p></p><p>For our heroes, the water knocks everyone other than the big tiger off their feet and down the stairwell. Weel and Vincenzo find their toes hanging over the edge of a pit, but at least it is only their toes. Even Lem, back in the other room is swept off his feet.</p><p></p><p>The room beyond the pit is full of water. Murky water.
