[QUOTE="lmpjr007, post: 4352838, member: 8817"] The second quarter of 2008 is over and it is a crazy time for RPG publishers. 4E has just been released. The GSL has just been released. Companies are scrambling what to do and who to support, but at LPJ Design, it is business as usual. Right off the bat, 4E has affected us as it has affected EVERYONE who sells RPGs. Are sales off a little due to 4E? Well of course they are. Hell they spent a year promoting 4E, I hope WOTC would make some money off of it. So saying 4E was a huge success (whatever that really means) is like saying water is wet. That’s kind of common sense, right? Hey, give me one-tenth of the budget they spent on their marketing of 4E and let’s see if I could be a “success”. The first Sidetrek Adventure Weekly series has finished and we are off to the second one; The Undead Chronicles. The Undead Chronicles has gotten so much interest and people signing up for the subscription service, we have already announced our third Sidetrek Adventure Weekly series; The Empire of Tears! With all the great work Werecabbage Publishing has done on this with series, lead by the amazing leadership of Line Editor Greg Oppedisano, we fell the Sidetrek Adventure Weekly series and brand will be a continued success for years to come. We hope to expand the Sidetrek Adventure Weekly brand into other genres including superheroes, espionage and sci-fi. Plus, we have also released the “dead tree” collected edition of the first series called Sidetrek Adventure Weekly Present: The Trodoon Gate Sage available exclusively at LPJDesign.com. On the NeoExodus: A House Divided front, Line Editor Neal Bailey is working on some really innovative products to be released for the second part of 2008. Neal is well known in the RPG gaming community working for such successful companies including Fifth Element Games, Old Kingdom Games and RPGObjects, in addition to his work on the Race Creation Cookbook and the Prestige Class Creation Cookbook for us. Neal finished the first two projects, the Enemies of NeoExodus: The Folding Circle and Lexicon Chronicles: Arcane Intelligence. We are just waiting for the artwork from Anthony Cournoyer and once we get the artwork, these products should be hitting the digital shelves of RPGNow.com very soon. We had a very successful promotion with Wolfgang Baur’s Kobold Quarterly #4, where customers received the FREE BONUS GIFT of Enemies of NeoExodus: Folding Circle – Brothers-In-Arms. This 9-page supplement focuses on 2 NPC associates of the upcoming Enemies of NeoExodus: Folding Circle, which reveals the history of the greatest and most powerful criminal/terrorist organization in the NeoExodus: A House Divided setting. This giveaway has exposed even more people to the NeoExodus: A House Divided setting. LPJ Design has always listened to our fans and supporters to make the best quality products possible. We have made numerous business alliances with several of the well-known and respected 3.5 OGL companies in the market today. In the next few months, we will be making announcements on several very influential business partnerships we have formed with other 3.5 OGL publishers. This has been a good business building quarter for LPJ Design and only helps us to be stronger in the future.
