The title's on the edge (or over) but how many edges can a comparatively small publisher seize ?


Besides, maybe an artsy type at WOTC will be able to wave it in the face of the suits that slammed PDFs. Congratulations to LPJ for putting things so eloquently. Let WOTC prove them wrong!

Why fake it? There are some people and companies in this industry that I like AND respect (Monte Cook and Paizo are two of them) and some I don't. That is life and I am sorry if you don't like my stuff. Hey it happens sometime. Some people like vanilla, some like chocolate and I like chocolate chocolate chip. I would suggest giving Gareth at Adamant Entertainment a try. He, like LPJ Design, is a long time PDF publisher and supporter and has lots of good 3.5 OGL material you migth want to try out and he even has soom 4e stuff you might like. Yes. And if you look at how Paizo, OBE, GR and most other handled this, you will see a perfect example of mocking while being (somewhat) respectful. But if you read the OP's second post, you will see it is no accident.

As opposed to how the other publishers you cited are "accidentally" offering sales based around the theme of PDF-love right after WotC stops selling PDF's?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it might be a cultural thing. The OP and most of the other reply'ers are from the USA. It's possible in Denmark that their level respect is different the the USA. Just like ice cream, there are many flavors.
