Or at least, I believe there to be so, and seem to have seen that born out, both in myself, in my kids, and in some of my friends. Consequence is a lesson we all learn harshly - either from our parents or from life in general. And I consider myself lucky that, for me, it was lovingly from the former, rather than mostly from the latter. (And if you knew my mom, you would know that I say that through gritted teeth where it regards her, but it is true, even if she may be and has been too nuts to really know what love is.)None of the above is meant to disrespect anyone or their opinion - Frukathka and Treebore included. In the game of life, your milage may most definitely vary.
