Well, soon. Just spotted it, available for pre-order, over at the mutants and masterminds site.

Not sure how many others might be interested in this, but hey, just in case I'm not the only one.

I still like 2e quite a lot, but I feel they've done great work, revising and refining as they have. Apparently, there's been a bit of minor errata correction and/or rules clarification going into this, from DCA, as well. Sounds good.

Also, I like the cover.

I'm actually a little apprehensive about switching. Over on Atomic Think Tank, Taliesin, who had very few house rules under 2E, has several major ones under 3E. (And by "major," I mean stuff like changing the whole time/distance progression table, stuff like that.)

Maybe I'm not understanding. How can errata be incorporated into a first-printing of a new edition? Presumably they will try to make it as correct as possible, but since it is the first printing there will of course be errata to be found.

Or are you talking about any errata DC Adventures might already have?

Maybe not the 1st hardcopy per se but Green Ronin usually releases the PDF before the Hardcopy. Usually the people who have the PDF contact them with possible issues that they can use to update the PDF and then also later printings of the books.

Er, nope. No idea at all. I was not so much armed with knowledge, as enthusiasm. However, even that...

Ignorance is bliss, perhaps? After purchasing the DCA pdf, I'd more or less decided that yes, this was the way to go (once "M&M3 proper" came out).

I'll have to go see what all the fuss is about, and take it from there. Thanks for the heads up, either way.

I'm not planning on switching to 3e, but I'm going to get the 3e book. There are some things I will probably swipe, and others I might consider.

But, I'm not a fan of the new progression table, new Impervious, and a few other things.

Since DC Adventures and M&M3 share the same system, we were able to incorporate all the errata fixes from DCA into M&M3. FYI.

Happy to know and thank you for clearing that up. Our 2nd Edition M&M game will be converting to 3rd Edition as soon as enough of us have the book. I've just been waiting for the non-DC version to come out.
