M&M and the best intro adventure

Stone Angel

First Post
K after years of swords and sorcery my group is trying to expand our focus a little. So we have chosen superhero's Hero 5e and M&M and Rifts were the auto replies, but since I have never played neither rifts nor Hero though I own books for both, but I have played M&M though not extensively was the consensus.

So next week we are going to use some of the pre gens out of the book, and go through a couple of encounter mini adventure to sort of toe the water before diving in head first.

So my question to you is there a pre made adventure that is excellent for this type of situation, even if it's a download?

What additional materials would be helpful to me as a GM for this type of campaign, I understand that have a villians book out now?

And of course any tips on running this kind of campaing as I have never run a supers campaign before.

Thanks

One of the best adventures I have seen for what you want to do is either the free one posted on M&M's site (I think it is called The Heist). That would last a couple of hours.

Then if you want something longer check out Ronin Arts' Matter of Family.

One of the nice things about A Matter of Family is that it assumes the PCs are just starting off and are actually hired because of it.

I think the adventure in the book is quite good as well but might last three to four hours. I don't suggest using the template characters though, they aren't that good to start off with. I would really start off with creating new characters and building from there. If you screw something up or someone looks wonky, fix it after the session.

Time of Crisis is a GREAT adventure as well though if you don't have the right amount of players, throw in an NPC or two. Should be very easy to pull off.
