Hey, LiVeWiRe: First off, what kind of help are you asking for? Do you want us to help design the character, or are you asking for thematic help? Thematically, here's a random sprinkling of ideas on how to make a powerhouse more than just "Big Strong Dude" (which is also fine, but if you're asking for more, it sounds like you want something more interesting). - An alien whose power comes from his ability to manipulate immense gravities. He arrived on Earth by coming through a black hole unscathed. Give him flight, space-flight, gravity control, and density control. - A totemic nature spirit guarding the world's natural creatures from all manner of insidious threats. Play him as verbally silent but telepathic and good with animals, and then add Super-Strength and Protection and the usual Powerhouse stuff to reflect his magical power. He can look like a humanoid bear or have a stag's head or something like that. - A guy who looks like an eight-foot-tall black-and-maroon demon -- but he's a good demon, more of a police officer than a fiendish creature. He was created to destroy things of evil, and because his kind are always around evil, fighting it and hunting it, they are unfairly associated with that evil. He flies on great batlike wings, and in addition to Super Strength and Protection, give him a Mental Blast -- turning the thoughts of evildoers back upon them, so to speak. As a weakness, say that he was designed by angels as a self-correcting mechanism -- his power is fueled by human suffering, so that when he finally succeeds in eradicating human suffering, his power fades. So, for example, he loses his powers in a church or on holy ground, which an evil person could use to his advantage. To freak people out, make him nice. Have him go from talking about the depths of human suffering and the unknowable pain of existence to "Oooh, puppies!" in the same sentence. - A mysterious sappire-skinned creature that could be a robot, an alien, or a mystical creature. Nobody knows. Play up the mysterious angle for as long as you want, and give him every immunity you can find. Protection, Mental Protection, high Con and Wis and Dex to boost those saves, Immunity feats to make him even harder to wrangle, and then give him Super-Speed with the Mach-one-punch extra to give him some combat power. Hope some of these ring a bell. :)
