OK, this tack may get a little distasteful for the GM. But, some white supremacists really do strongly believe in their views. And, they have some reasonable-sounding arguments to back them up. They range from claiming that all "lesser" races are descended from the son of Noah that was banished to quoting studies that "prove" that minorities are less capable. Some of them even freely admit that black people are better athletes. But, they are less intelligent, less moral, and their rightful place is one of servitude. If you play up the "this guy truly believes he's on the side of right" angle, it can be kind of odd. A little research can give you most of the common arguments pretty quickly (though it can get you on some scary mailing lists if you're not careful). The interesting twist is that he can sincerely respect a black hero, especially if that hero is a fighter. "Well, naturally you excel at hand-to-hand combat. Your people are still so close to your native roots. You're only one degree removed from apes, after all, and gorillas are certainly fearsome fighters." The fact that such a line can be delivered with absolute sincerity and respect will make many people just stop and blink for a while. Of course, the gaping will just reinforce the "fact" that your brain doesn't work as quickly. The trick to making this work is to give him a lot of intelligent-sounding logic to back up his beliefs. If you, as a person, have a knack for logic, you might even be able to tie up the heroes so that they can't actually come up with a good counter-argument. That will frustrate them more than a villain who's just super-strong and super-invulnerable. All in all, this is an interesting, and brave, exercise. I wish you luck.
