For any given user, sometimes a new edition will be better than the old, sometimes it won't. I have every edition of Werewolf and Ars Magica (well, since 3rd), but i haven't bought any versions of Mage since the 1st, because, for my tastes, each edition (including Mage: the Awakening) has been noticably inferior to the previous. And, really, i'd say more people complain about it when an edition doesn't make noticable changes, than when it does.</blockquote>
