The S.T.A.R. labs building sits quietly on its position on New Troy Island, the golden lights of the sun and evening sky reflecting off its golden windows. The Javelin hovers above the city, looking down upon even this vaunted haven of science. Beyond it, the skyline is punctuated by a half-dozen plumes of black smoke, where looters and rioters have started fires, and where opportunists have opted to take advantage of the power vacuum left by the Justice League's disappearance. Is this how it feels to be a hero? You wonder, perhaps, as the realization comes to you that you've never truly been on your own before. Always your mentor was there to guide you. Now you, like them at their beginning, are poised on the edge of promised danger. Like them, you find yourself with a cadre of fellow-heroes. Possibly the only heroes left on the planet, you realize, thanks to Mongol; there weren't many to begin with, frankly, and now you're following the clues of a known mad man, hoping your answers to his riddles were the right ones. It is tempting to feel small right now, so high above such a large city. Now the adventure awaits your action: you're at the S.T.A.R. labs building. What do you do? (ie: how do you enter? Or do you do something else first?) ooc: by that I mean M&M isn't a miniatures game. There's the Star Labs building, you're heroes with any number of options available to you right now. What do you choose?
