Not knowing yet, what's going on there, Llhuna decides to watch the pursuit for a moment, hoping to figure out what to do. She draws her shortbow, just in case the fugitive is coming her way. Her cheeks now as red as her hair, inflating emptying in a sad, yet unintentional, parody of a blacksmith's bellows, Nuressa spies Irontusk and nearly flys across the docs to get at him. "I... <gasp> I... <gasp> ...gotch ...now." Hmm, I won't be able to clobber him just yet, too many things in the way, but at least I'll be close enough to knock him down if he tries anything. Gasping for air as she runs, Nuressa gets a big lungful of the odor of rotten strawberries. It looks like this merchant was a little late getting into town! Her hardy dwarven ancestry saves her from what would be an otherwise sickening experience. Rushing onto the same barge with Irontusk, Nuressa too must contend with the nets hanging about the ship. Her stubby dwarven legs are no help here at all, and she is soon badly entangled. OOC: You make it to I-21. It's a full round action (Escape Artist or Strength) to either slip free or break free next round. You are all set for the AOO however. With a feral roar, Irontusk lowers his shoulder and barrels toward Nuressa. The plucky dwarf was expecting something like this though, and she swings with her warhammer thumping the enraged half-orc soundly.) Irontusk staggers for a moment, then shoves into Nuressa, who easily forces him back. Undaunted, or too maddened with hate and pain to care, Irontusk settles for sidestepping the dwarf. Just a few yards away a battle between what is either an enormous chicken, or a feather covered half-orc unfolds. Trying to watch all three of the snarling bulldogs at the same time is tricky. The first dog is almost on top of Urkulyr before he realizes it. Reacting as fast as possible, the half-orc chops down with his greataxe, putting a large hole in the deck, but missing the hound by a mile. The mongrel lunges towards the cleric, but its jaws close on thin air. The second dog too rushes ahead, eager to protect its master's barge. The hound's teeth flash white, but it gets nothing but a mouthful of feathers. Kel splashes into the water a second time, "Bah a pox on this." Kel startes swimming to the end of the dock, thinking to himself, okay I'll just swim up to this rat, I'm not walkin' the plank again. Still back on the docks, Eldred draws a small wooden disk from his pouch. Turning his gaze inwards, he quietly mutters to himself. "Be the bolt ... be the bolt." The air shimmers around him as he draws arcane power to himself. OOC: Things are moving right along. It looks like Irontusk is on the ropes. That last blow from Nuressa hurt him badly, and he seems to be tiring. Moving on. Same Initiative order. Llhuna - 21 Nuressa - 20 Irontusk - 15 Urkulyr - 14 Kel - 8 Eldred - 5 Dogs -4
