(Leaving aside Rule 0 for now) If you find an interesting way to use a defensive spell offensively are you breaking the spirit of the rules, or just being creative and a good player?As far as unbalancing the spell, if a player REALLY wants to try to grapple a strength-draining shadow, I say go ahead.
