When does this book hit australia's shores? and roughly how much are we expecting it to be? also is there anywhere online that a cut down verison might be available?

It usually depends on the tide. And whether they can find a bottle big enough for a hardcover. ;)

More seriously, with online ordering it;s fairly quick. It depends on how much you want to spend on shipping.

If you wait for it to be in your LGS, it could be quite a while, though... (I like to wait, anyway, since I can get good reports of the product's quality from our overseas friends :) ).

sorry buy cut down version i mean is there any examples of what kind of magic items there are going to be. I've seen the magic gems and I'm kinda happy (until i see more) with what this makes avilable but i hope there is going to be more then just magic gems.

Are we going to see new weapon enchants, armor enchants. minor/medium/major magic items. more artifacts, more legacy items? Can a Legacy weapon/armor use a magic gem or is that more DMs disgression?

what other kind of things are we going to see?

The WotC website is the only place that you are likely to see more previews. The "(X month) and Beyond" articles normally have some info (such as the magic gems). The also usually come out with an excerpt or two before the book is released but it varies from product to product.

Out of interest, where in Australia are you Himoura?
