[QUOTE="JoeGKushner, post: 2287566, member: 1129"] I was reading on the Miniatures Page that Magnificent Egos will be doing the miniatures for Iron Heroes. Anyone know if Iron Wind will still be doing the Arcana Evolved line or have they been pimp slapped for their lack of active support in the line? Magnificent Egos plans an initial release of five miniatures for August 2005, with a special limited-edition figure available only at the Gen Con Game Fair this August in Indianapolis. The new figures will be brought to life by sculptors Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne, based on designs by notable fantasy artists Kev Crossley and Jason Engle. Malhavoc Press founder Monte Cook said that Magnificent Egos' brand of high-quality, imaginative sculpts is just the thing for the high-energy Iron Heroes variant rules. "I couldn't be happier than to be working with Magnificent Egos on this," he said. "I love their work!" "Magnificent Egos is very excited to be involved with the Iron Heroes project," said company President Chris Clark. "The product design is groundbreaking, and the art is simply amazing. With the amount of talent involved here, we are going to produce a set of figures that will truly stand apart." Monte Cook Presents: Iron Heroes by popular game designer Mike Mearls offers a collection of new classes, feats, equipment, variant rules, and innovative subsystems to make high-action roleplaying more exciting than ever before. You can integrate this material into your d20 System games or use it as a stand-alone, open-gaming system. This 256-page hardcover is suitable for characters of all levels and will be available in print and PDF editions from Malhavoc Press. Read about the book's development in Mike's ongoing Design Diary at the Malhavoc Press website: montecook.com. Monte Cook Presents: Iron Heroes hits store shelves in August. Following this launch, Malhavoc Press offers the 96-page Mastering Iron Heroes supplement in October, and a creature design book of similar length - titled The Iron Heroes Bestiary - in January 2006. With this partnership, Magnificent Egos joins Goodman Games and Fiery Dragon Productions as official Iron Heroes licensees. Goodman plans to release Iron Heroes adventures in print and PDF editions, while Fiery Dragon will publish PDF-exclusive adventures and the Iron Heroes Battle Box with counters and other game aids.
