I don't think any of the 2nd level spells can (unless the 8th level ranger is facing 2-8 creatures of less than 4HD <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f644.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":rolleyes:" title="Roll eyes    :rolleyes:"  data-smilie="11"data-shortname=":rolleyes:" />  ). 3rd level spells? nothing special there. 4th level polymorph self pops up, giving all manner of possibilities for carnage... but 14th level is a long while to wait! He even gets healing spells extra-slowly.That's not to say that I'm unwilling to consider options that I've glossed over... I'd be interested in suggestions for great uses for some of the other spells - they just seem so Blah compared to the paladins bless weapon/protection from evil/greater magic weapon/dispel magic/holy sword/dispel evil etc.Cheers</blockquote>
