Message: <blockquote data-quote="evildmguy" data-source="post: 1606742" data-attributes="member: 6092">Greetings!Like others, I have issues with this.  However, like others, mine are for my own reasons, which are similar to other problems other people have had.  First, though, a disclaimer.  I have no problem with Monte's decision on this.  It was his right and that's fine by me.  Yes, it will affect me as a consumer and if he wants to listen to me in that regard, that is up to him.  However, I don't fault him in any way for his business decision.  Here is my issue.  I have not been able to get Acrobat reader 6 to work on any of my computers.  This includes a computer that was wiped, reformatted and reinstalled.  It was as clean as I could make it and it didn't work.  Therefore, reading that only 6.0 is supported has stopped me from doing anything with them.  I understand this is my issue.  I have tried to download the install on several occassions across two months but nothing has been fixed.  I have looked for patches and have seen none.  It didn't work on two seperate computers I have.  I have done a lot to get this resolved because I now have a computer on which I can't see any PDFs.  I think I have done enough for now to try and get it to work.  I will wait for the next version of Reader and if that works, I will reevaluate my position.  Until then, I won't be using *anything* that needs 6.0.  In the end, that's my choice and, more than likely, my loss.  Have a good one!  Take care!edg</blockquote>
