re The ones I've watched that I've liked: Bleach It's a long series and will take a while to catch up. The quality is not always even with the side stories that take place until the mangaka catches up. But the main story and characters are great. Cowboy Bebop Classic. Samurai Champloo Classic. Ghost in the Shell Classic. I really enjoyed this series. It's kind hokey that the lead character is some hot lesbian cyborg woman that walks around in an aerobics bathing suit all day. But the stories are great as are the characters. Gunslinger Girl This a very odd, but entertaining anime. Samurai Seven This is based on the Seven Samurai. The overall series was a disappointment, but it had some great parts. Black Lagoon Action anime at its finest. Good fun in that B-movie action kind of way. This one may not be out on DVD as the company that made it was still trying to figure out who to use as an American distributor. Blade of the Immortal I just started watching this, but it's been fun so far. Not sure it is out on DVD yet though. Full Metal Alchemist I didn't like the ending a whole lot. But the overall series was very good. Claymore I really enjoyed this series. But they only did one season and did a very unsatisfying end to set up for another season that never was. But I would watch this just for the many great episodes that built up to the flat ending. It was a great build up and the main character was very cool. It is basically about a group of Valkyrie type women that hunt down werewolves. I would love to see this as a live action movie.
