Dave O... Background for my pc.... Pierre Blackwolf is the hafling 1/2 breed son of a french trapper(hafling also) and a hafling indian squaw from the Sparrowhawk (a Gorgian tribe). Abandoned by his father he was raised by his mother who was allowed to stay with the tribe (although she was treated as an outsider via her contamination of the pregnancy via the frenchman). After several years of eaking out a living on the scraps of the tribe, his mother Little Creek turned to her ansestral spirits for aid. After a month long fast and prayer deep in the Georgin forests she was approached by a Fey who was supposibly sent to her by her ansesters. This being tought her the ways of the spirit and forest leading her to become a Shaman. Pierre grew up under her tutalige, learning the ways of the forest. Although in the beginning of his young life he taught himself the best way to survive was that of a thief. Gradually from the influances of his mother and the spirits, he learned the way of the forest, which he seemed to be born to do. His hunting skills quickly progressed, soon leading him to surpass all the other youths in the Sparrowhawk tribe. Although this normally would of lead him to leading hunting parties for the tribe, his half-breed nature kept him from being recognized for his abilities. As time progressed he withdrew from his people only coming to them to trade for items needed for him or his mother. Last year Pierre started having dreams of burning forests and a presence that would destroy his tribes and threaten the natural order of life. Speaking with his mother it was deceided that he leave the area in search of this threat and do what he could to stop his dreams from coming to reality. Gifting him with protective braclets and an enchanted bow, and a few medicine poultices he has journeyed to stop fate before it destroyes that which he holds dear, his mother and his lands. And if he does find his father along the way, to punish him for leaving those that needed him. Character will be posted tomorrow....hope this will fit in with the scheme. He will be a hafling 1/3 thief/ranger...hafling indian.
