I bought the PDF without realising it didn't have art, and skimmed through it jumping to a few specific monster and planar locations that I was particularly interested in seeing a 5e take on. So good was the lore and 5e mechanics for the specific things I was looking for, that I didn't even notice there was no art until I came back to this thread and saw someone point that out. Am I someone with a low Perception score? Probably. Would I like the book even more if there was some art added? Definitely. Do I love it as is for the rich appreciation of past sources combined with a solid understanding of how to bring things up to date for today's D&D? Absolutely.</p></blockquote><p></p>
