But that was centuries ago, and no one has found the so called “Vault of Tears” since…”</p><p></p><p>The Vault of Tiers (mistakenly thought to be the Vault of Tears) is a reliquary for The Orb of MacGuffin commissioned by a group of adventurers who felt the Orb was too potent and dangerous to take with them, but too important to destroy.</p><p></p><p>The vault was damaged sometime in the next few hundred years during an earthquake, and now a stream runs through it from one cracked wall, down to the vault floor, and out the opposite wall. The whole vault is mildewy and damp, with spiderwebs moving gently in the weak breeze that blows in along with the water from elsewhere in the city.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]427448[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Before Christmas, I was approached to do some commission work in the classic “old school blue” style of dungeon maps. I quickly ascertained that they were looking for a darker blue as used in most modern replicas as opposed to the true “non photo” blue used in the early D&D adventures. The plan going forward is to release at least one map with an old school blue variant every month (along with a full colour variant of another map each month) – although starting in March these variants will be released exclusively through my Patreon to supporters.</p><p></p><p>The 1200 dpi versions of the map were drawn at a scale of 300 pixels per square and are 4,800 x 7,200 pixels (16 x 24 squares).
