We normally have 6 players and myself. One player had to bow out, so we have an opening. 6:30 to 10:30pm CST. Every other Wednesday night. MapTool and Ventrilo are required, a webcam is optional(though encouraged). Currently 5 out of the 6 remaining people use the webcam and it really adds to the experience to see who you are talking to. We use the Hero System(5th ed). It is fine if you are not familiar with the system. I have run many games with players who are not familiar with Hero and MapTool takes care of most of the crunchy stuff anyway. The setting is modern day Minneapolis, MN. Based off of the "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and spin off "Angel", tv series. More off of Angel though. Minneapolis is a bit darker and more evil then it is in reality. You are fighting the good fight against forces more powerful then yourself. Here is the campaign website for more information. Dark Champions: Twin Cities The forum has a recap section for what has happened in the past. About the campaign. We have been playing this one for about 2 1/2 years now. Needless to say power levels are getting on the high side. So, things are getting a bit more powerful and fantastic then most of the tv stuff was. We are entering the last major story arc of this campaign. I am guessing it will last 1 to 2 more years, as the players love to pick up every side plot I send their way. Then I will be starting a Call of Cthulhu campaign, run with the Hero System, 1920's, probably New England based. When we switch campaigns we will also be switching to 6th edition Hero. You should like more of a combat light campaign. I would say that 70 to 80% of the time is role-playing with 20 to 30% of the time in combat.
