Marble Dice?

Do marble dice roll so uneven that it is possible to roll every fifth die as a 20? Can anyone tell me where I can research this subject myself?

Not unless you were very (un)lucky, or they were intentionally made that way. Marble dice should be pretty much as random as normal dice provided they were made properly. I'm sure it's possible to end up with one that's skewed, but to have it skewed that badly and towards 20's to boot is suspicious.

Take the die and roll it 100 times. If you roll around twenty 20s, the die is probably loaded or badly made. You should roll about five 20s, give or take a few due to randomness.

right a 95% confidence interval on a chi square test should give you.... bleh...


just roll the dice like XCorvis said. if you have an abnormally high number of rolls of 1 number your die is probably poorly constructed.

otherwise all numbers should come up around the same amount of times...
