Interesting.

Maybe it's supposed to be "Powers of Faerun" and is a 3.5 update of Faiths & Pantheons...

Or maybe it's just an update of Magic of Faerun....

After some amazon.ca-fu, I've uncovered:

Complete Psionic by Bruce Cordell, April 2006 http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/AS...00398/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_0_5/701-8785175-5139561

Is there that much psionic material outside of XPH? And if so, do they really want to cannibalize whatever psionic sales they were getting from the race and environment books by doing this?

Hmmm. Scaly folk? I'd LOVE a book that gave kobolds the sort of treatment the race books gave the PHB races. I'd rather have seen "Races of the Sea" first, but maybe "Stormwrack" will cover that sufficiently.

Ooh.

Looks like the 160-page book is becoming a standard. Up until recently, 192 and 224 were the rage. I think 4 of those are 160-pagers, probably $US 29.99.

Tome of Magic at 288 pages however, seems to be the premium product.

Neat!

My guess: Complete Psionic will be what Complete Adventurer, Complete Arcane, etc. are to the other core classes -- an expansion, not a compilation. I would expect to see new powers, feats, maybe a new core class, new PrCs, new equipment, maybe new monsters, etc.
