Methinks you're thinking of the Overseer or the Spectator maybe?So, looks like 3 Abominations aren't being converted. It would've been nice if the book took all the beholders from other books and updated them, but it it was a decision made so that the book would have more new material rather than merely reprinted material, I guess that could be okay.I'm wondering if the Gas Spore will make a reappearance in the Beholder chapter? <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />All in all, Lords of Madness looks excellent.  I eagerly await it with my grubby, gamer hands.  Sandstorm... looks okay, though I remember that the previews for Frostburn did very little to excite me.  I think it's great that the Unholy Toughness ability has made it's way into other books now.</blockquote>
