It only took them the entire edition to catch up to what people were doing since the game was released. :P

I see more kobolds and goblins in play than elves.

Ya, (as I just posted on another thread), this and Undermountain look like good products to start a long running campaign.

Oh well.

Wow really?

Let's see, races I've seen played in the past years playing 4e...

Group #1: 2 humans, 2 gnomes, 2 shifters, and an eladrin

Group #2: 2 goliaths, elf, githzerai, wilden, deva, changeling

Group #3: 2 humans, kalashtar, gnome, vampire elf

Group #4: Minotaur, warforged, wilden, pixie, halfling

No kobolds or goblins...but that's not to say one of the gnome players wouldn't have jumped at the chance with enough support.

Indeed; I was hoping for all three goblinoid races. Maybe they'll be added in accompanying DDI articles? Pretty, please?!

I agree. If nothing else, make it an Eye on Eberron article. At least there the goblinoids have an in-game explanation to be allowed as PC races.

I was hoping this March & Beyond was actually going to detail stuff beyond May. I have a feeling there won't be anymore 4e product support after May, which leaves me cold- especially to all the 'system neutral' stuff. I want confirmation or denial all 4e has left is DDi support, disheartening though the answer may be. It's already a short-lived edition, to pull out with a year left till 5e seems extra wrong. Then again, I have little interest in 5e, so I'm admittedly bias.

I'm excited to see what the Trapsmith theme gives us. The Combat Trapsmith and Trapsmith PrCs from 3.5 seemed like a fun classes to play despite not being very good. I think 4E could do the snare-rigging concept justice.

Heh. I hope the svirfneblin get the same AC bonus that they got in 2nd Ed.

Defense Bonus --The typical Svirfnelbin warrior has a Armor Class of 2. Deep Gnomes become harder to hit as they gain experience in dodging in combat, causing their Armor Class to improve by one point for every level beyond 3rd, to a maximum of AC -6.
