What appears in front of you is the most hideously sewn together creature. Whilst it is proportionately correct walks at a stunning 8ft, and what skin you can see looks damp and pallid. It wears a large cloak, to try hide other obvious birth defects.

Created irresponsibly by victor Frankenstein, this thought-to-be abomination has a great intellect and love of life however after passed rejections he may not value you life as much. It now wanders the land seeking acceptance where it knows it cannot, fleetingly seeking peace only to be destroyed once more by the screams of horrified creatures.

The monster itself is immensely complex and should provide a clear challenge to the PC’s rather then a cannon fodder.

COMBAT
The monster prefers to observe people for days before interaction, however when in a straight up fight the Monster simply uses his brute strength to destroy what ever stands in his way, inless a better plan can be used.

Choke(Ex): After the monster makes a slam attack, he may grapple and choke an opponent with out penalty or provocation of an AoO. Once the Monster has succeed he ay make a strength check against his opponents HD or be reduced to 0 hp

Monstrous endurance(Ex): The Monstrous can hustle for periods of 3 hours before suffering nonlethal damage. He can also consume small or innutritious amounts of food and still act normally

I was just thinking the same thing, ADG. I'd have made Frankenstein's monster an intelligent flesh golem with improved grab and strangle and maybe without berzerk.

Demiurge out.

Unless... maybe if he was basing it off of the original idea, having the monster be the first of an enhanced human race, and having him/it somehow reproduce itself and give rise to a new species, then maybe. I'd have personally made it a humanoid in that case, but that's just me.

Interresting. Personally I disagree with the creature type, instead basing the monster of an incarnate flesh golem, but it is quite well done. Very true to the spirit of Mary Shelley's original. :D

When I created (ha ha) this monster I looked up Construct, It says they are animated objects, and that they need not sleep or eat or breath, nor do they naturally heal.

Look at the flesh golem picture in the MM, it has pins, vials in whats left of it sholder, braces on it's chest. Frankensteins monster is alive sans artifice. Simply a dodge resurection.

Yeah, according to the book, Frankenstein's Monster was an organic creature created out of dead parts. He needed to eat, breathe, and mate as much as you or I. And Chaotic Good is an accurate reflection of the character. When he found his master dead, he committed suicide, among other noble things. Of course, I don't know if the movie incarnation is different. It’s a good monster, but I’d like it if the flavor text was longer.

His alignment is a tricky issue, for me. Remember he also killed Frankenstein's wife so that he could have a mate made for him, which doesn't strike me as a particularly good act.

I guess his type gets into the whole question (always problematic, for me) of whether a construct that develops an independent consciousness and more of a 'life' really qualifies as a construct anymore.

Well, the way I see it, 'having a life' and being a living creature aren't necessarily the same thing. Like the robot in Short Circuit... that guy was a sentient creature, but still didn't eat or sleep, so he'd still qualify as a Construct. Or something like that. That's just the first example I could think of.

Thus basing him of an incarnate Flesh Golem (making him a medium-size giant :p)

As for the alignment issue I think "The Monster" was Chaotic Neutral if anything, of course, that is just my humble opinion. :D

But still, I like this effort, very nice.
