Arn't the more powerful races (centuars / avian thingys / minotuars) going to be restricted somehow after beta's over? I got into the SB beta near the end, but was never able to get my account properly set up, a shame given I very much like a lot of the ideas they had. PS2: Everquest Online Adventurers - which is interetsing, though I seriously doubt I'll be playing it once I'm done with my free month. Xenosaga: Currently absorbing most of my time. Excelent, and damn hard in places! =D Jade Cacoon 2: Havn't had this in the rotation for a while, but I'm really hoping to spend a bit time with it later this week. It has one of the most unique and well designed RPG battle systems I've ever seen, and the writing is suprisingly witty and well done. X-Box: Marakumo. My roommate downloaded a preview movie just last week and we were both blown away that it's flown under the radar in most gaming media. But in playing it I'm afraid it's a simple fact that the game is average all around, and has some serious control issues (weapon lock-on being impossible to control and difficult to mantain). I do so love shooters, and I'm reserving final judgement, but really the more I think about it the less appelaing the game is. One more disipointing X-Box title to place next to Kung-Foo Chaos. GBA: Tacticts Ogre - Knight of Lodis. How I love this game. Almost have my perfect group assembeled (need to make a lawful and get that angle knight, still), now to get some money and start doing bonus battles. PC: Sim City 4. Gave MOO3 a quick spin but couldn't take the information overload. -=Multiplayer=- PC: UT2K3. We set up a dedicated server last week for this. I wish we had the people in the dorm to support something more tactictal, like Battlefield, but we don't (we also largly lack the computer power to pull that off). I have a friend who's addected to freelancer, but the mouse-based flight conrtolls are a real turn-off for me. X-Box: Halo & ATV Quad Power Racing. Gamecube: Super Smash Brothers Melee. It will never die. All in all, this month looks to be a chance to get re-aquanted with the PS2.
