I have finished Amber and Iron and it is off to my editor. The release date is now set for February 2006.
Yes, I know it's a little late, but the good news is that it will be a paperback original! I have long felt that new DL novels need to come out in paperback first and then perhaps a hardback for collectors later. We'll do a little experiment with this one!
There will also be an Appendix in this book dealing with the Beloved and other cool stuff.
Read into and you see that there is no assurance of the hardback edition's release. If you want the hardback, buy paperbacks early and often so that the print run will "warrant" a "collector's edition.
